MEXICAN LOOP PATTERN HOLSTER AND BELT
Mexican loop Pattern safety strap hand carved holster made of extra heavy leather and belt. Holster is just like the Heiser No.713 type and will fit a Colt S.A. with a 4 3/4" BBL. Belt is 2 3/4" wide and faced with two rows of cartridge loops to carry rifle or handgun cartridges or both. The top row can be used for 44-40 WCF ammo. If both rows are used, Cal; 30-30, 32-40 and a few others calibers will fit. Ref. "Packing Iron" P.189. The holster and belt are "unmarked"!!! Probably manufactured around 1925-1935. Rare belt, not easy to find. Very fine condition!
